Thursday May 2, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. $65/Person

This class offers insight to solving the mysteries and challenges of still water/ lake fly fishing. Whether you are a beginner, or an experienced fly fisher wanting to expand your “fishing toolbox”, this class offers techniques and insight for successful still water fishing. Topics will include; reading and identifying different types of water; fishing techniques; water conditions; weather conditions; where to fish; equipment and fly patterns. Classroom discussion and techniques will cover cold and warm water fish species as well as fishing desert to high mountain lakes. Learn about reading water from land, fish movement, wind management, structure, aquatic insects, “the kitchen”, and use of differing lines.

The class will take place in the Idaho Angler education building and be presented in a Power Point format. Presented by Tom Governale
