Due to the demand for this exciting redfish fishery, the Idaho Angler has added a third trip! The first two trips filled quickly and there are only 3 spots left on this adventure. The lodge has offered us a SCREAMING Deal! 5 nights lodging and 4 days of sight fishing for redfish for the affordable price of $1,518/person. All fishing is guided from skiffs in Matagorda and San Antonio Bays. The lodge is one of the most comfortable that we have experienced and the service and food is exceptional. The guides are personable, knowledgeable, and work hard. And the redfish are cooperative! Sight fishing to redfish is exciting and they fight hard. Most fish average 18” – 24” with fish up to 30” and larger available. This is a great opportunity for both the beginner and experienced fly fisher. Most fish are caught at 50 feet and less. Many at 30 feet and less! This is a great opportunity to escape the Boise winter weather. Average temperatures at the Lodge During late March/early April range from the night time lows in the mid 50’s to day time highs in the mid 70’s.
