Tim, an Idaho native, has been honing his fly-fishing skills on Idaho rivers, spring creeks, and still waters for over 30 years and lately finds himself on many different Saltwater Flats around the world. This intimate knowledge of Idaho's waters has served as a springboard for his fishing adventures throughout the world, fishing for all varieties of fresh and saltwater species. Tim has spent the past 18 years working in the fly-fishing industry. His knowledge and expertise bring the elements needed to offer lasting customer service to everyone who visits Idaho Angler.

In addition to being an excellent fly tier, Tim is a FFF certified casting instructor and enjoys sharing his knowledge and skills.

Joy, an FFF Certified Casting Instructor, is an exceptional and elegant flycaster and has been on the forefront in bringing the fly fishing experience to women. She has taught Idaho Angler's beginning,"Women's Only," and childrens' Trout Trek fly fishing classes for many years. Joy and friends have gotten together for fly tying at the shop every fall for the past 18 years. She and husband Don, also host international fly fishing expeditions to various saltwater destinations. Joy was born in Idaho and has lived in the Boise area most of her life. She has been a fly fisher for 26 years and has fished many fresh and saltwater destinations in the U.S. and worldwide.

Sean has lived in Idaho since 1992 and has been involved in the fly fishing industry since 1993. For 14 years he worked and guided for a fly shop in the Wood River Valley. Sean has extensive experience in fly fishing, not only here in Idaho, but abroad as well. Sean has experienced fly fishing in New Zealand, England, Venezuela, Africa, Mexico, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Seychelles, Tahiti and Alaska, to name a few. If you have a question about travel destinations, Sean is a good guy to ask. Sean's personal interests include hunting, fishing and coaching the Boise High School Boy's Lacrosse Club.

Dale is originally from Whitefish, MT, but has lived in Boise since the eighties and has been in the fly-fishing business since the early nineties. He is an avid hunter and fisherman and has vast knowledge of the recreational opportunities in the surrounding areas. Here in the store, he is a jack of all trades, from "Mr. Fix-it" to ordering fly tying materials. When it comes to fishing, he is a dry fly purist and does not use "bait" or "bobbers", but he will help you select nymphs and streamers if you ask nicely. In fact, he will help you with almost anything and share his valuable information as long as you've got a good sense of humor and don't mind a little ribbing from time to time.
