Tim,
an Idaho native, has been honing his fly-fishing
skills on Idaho rivers, spring creeks, and
still waters for over 25 years. This intimate
knowledge of the Idaho’s waters has
served as a springboard for his fishing
adventures throughout North America fishing
for all varieties of fresh and saltwater
species. Tim has spent the past 10 years
working in the fly-fishing industry, both
in retail and for a local boat manufacturer.
His knowledge and expertise bring the elements
needed to offer lasting customer service
to everyone who visits Idaho Angler.
In addition
to being an excellent fly tier, Tim is a
FFF certified casting instructor and enjoys
sharing his knowledge and skills.

An
Idaho native, Brad began fly-fishing at the
age of 11, and tying flies at 17. Considered
a master tier by his peers and exceptionally
gifted on the water, Brad splits his time
between attending Boise State University,
Idaho Angler, and fly-fishing.
Brad
has been recently featured in publications
as an up and coming star in fly fishing.
Brad brings an incredible depth of knowledge
to Idaho Angler. We are fortunate to have
a young man of his caliber working with
us.

Matt
is an Idaho native, and has been an avid
fly fisher for 15 years. He is also an accomplished
fly tyer. You’ll find Matt chasing
steelhead on the Salmon River in the Spring,
and trout on the South Fork of the Boise
and the Owyhee River the rest of the year.

Keith
has fly fished for 15 years and traveled
throughout the western United States fly
fishing. He grew up in Pennsylvania fishing
its spring creeks and rivers. Keith is
an experienced fly tying instructor and
former fishing guide. His favorite destinations
are the Florida Keyes chasing Tarpon,
Alaska chasing salmon, and anywhere steelhead
are found.

Don
is an FFF Certified Casting Instructor and
a lifelong fly fisher. He is passionate
about fly fishing as a family sport. His
favorite fishing spots include the South
For of the Boise, Silver Creek and any saltwater
flat where permit, bonefish or tarpon are
found.

Joy,
an FFF Certified Casting Instructor, is an
exceptional and elegant flycaster and has
been on the forefront in bringing the fly
fishing experience to women. She teaches Idaho
Angler’s beginning and “Women’s
Only” fly fishing classes. She and husband
Don, also host international fly fishing expeditions
to various saltwater destinations.
Joy has lived
in Idaho all her life, fly fished for 15
years throughout the West, and many saltwater
destinations worldwide.

Rick
is an avid steelhead and saltwater flats angler.
He is an FFF Master Casting and Two-Hand (spey)
Instructor and a member of the FFF Casting
Board of Governors. He teaches Idaho Angler’s
advanced and Spey casting classes and hosts
international fishing expeditions to various
steelhead and saltwater destinations.
An Idaho
native, Rick has fly-fished for 35 years
throughout Idaho and the Pacific Northwest.
He is a nationally recognized salmon conservation
biologist with the University of Idaho’s
Native Fish Conservation Laboratory in Hagerman.
He is also a Life Member of the Federation
of Fly Fishers, where he serves as Conservation
VP for the Western Rocky Mountain Council,
and a Life Member of Trout Unlimited, where
he is the Idaho representative on the TU
National Leadership Council.
